More about James

Married and a father of two boys, I am acutely aware of the need for great financial advice to support a family now and in the future.  Having helped literally 100’s of people retire, I have considerable first hand insight in to the importance of getting this right, so that my clients can live the retirement lifestyle that they have always wanted. I do this by focusing on what people value in life; in order to provide advice that is relevant; practical; and easy to understand.

I am a true believer that great advice is underpinned by education. I am Certified Financial Planner (CFP);  hold a Master of Commerce (Financial Planning) through the University of Western Sydney; a Diploma of Financial advising through Securities Institute; and I am an accredited SMSF adviser.

As a business owner, I have high expectations of my team. Continuous improvement and innovation underpins the Yield culture and this along with a client centric focus is an imperative to work as part of the team at Yield.

Personally also I love investment markets. Its what got me into financial planning in the first place and I have a wealth of experience and knowledge in Property and Share markets to share. This has been fostered and developed from directorships in Property focused businesses, as well as our businesses active investment advice to clients and my own personal investment and studies in the Share market.

Most importantly though, I know that life is for living and having the right plan in place will ensure that our clients can get the most out of every day and be secure and confident in their future.
